LOCAL MICROCLIMATE
The climate in Peloponnese is mediterranean and temperate, characterized by mild winters and dry hot summers, while the rainfalls are rare. However, the climate varies and differs enough in relation to the characteristics of a region, for example the distance from the sea or the elevation.
The region of Sterea has got mediterranean climate with cool winters, strong winds and humidity, while the climate during the summer months is particularly dry.
SOIL TYPES
The soil can be sandy, sandy-loam, clay or sandy-clay.
METHOD OF VINIFICATION
Niovi is produced under the most modern technology of red wines production and the temperature within the stainless tanks does not exceed the 20o C during the process of fermentation.
THE SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS
Niovi has got a bright and deep red colour and a rich aroma of fragrant red fruit and cherries. The taste is full with smooth tannins leaving a velvet taste in mouth together with a sweet flavor.
COMPLEMENT
Niovi can be combined with fruit and hard kinds of cheese while it is suitable even as a dessert wine.

You can enjoy it in between 14o C – 16o C.
